Sri Lanka’s tourism industry, which was greatly affected by the Co-vid 19 pandemic, is slowly regaining its momentum, and for the first time in 2021, the country received more than $10 million.
September 2021 saw Sri Lanka receive $18.20 million for the tourism sector, with tourist arrivals exceeding 10,000. According to the Tourism Ministry, over 1000 Russian tourists have booked their tickets via Sri Lanka Airlines and arrive in October.
