Sri Lanka’s market leader in wood coatings & finishing’s, JAT Holdings PLC, has defied expectations and delivered impressive results in the 3rd Quarter of FY 2021/22.
Despite unfavorable market conditions, the Group Profit After Tax rose by 232%, reaching LKR 717 million. The Trailing 12-months (TTM) stood at LKR 1.102 billion.
In the 9-months under review, the company revenue increased by 72% as gross profit margins remained steady at 30%. The company’s export revenue had grown by 22%, compared to the 9% recorded the previous year. The EPS of the trailing 12 months stood at LKR 2.16, pleasing its investors.
WHITE by JAT saw 62% in sales above the budget for the first nine months of FY 2021/22, while the company’s brush and wood coating sectors rose by 57% and 33%. JAT Holdings Bangladesh saw a 379% increase in revenue.
The multinational conglomerate has also secured several luxury kitchens and wardrobe projects from luxury developers Prime Grand Residencies and 606 The Address worth LKR 1 billion.
CEO and Executive Director Nishal Ferdinando stated that he is pleased with the company’s performance. At the same time, founder and Managing Director Aelian Gunasekara noted that the group is on track to meet its LKR 1.2 billion PAT target for FY 21/22.
