Chairman of the Capital Maharaja Organization R. Rajamahendran (Killi Maharaja) has reportedly passed away. He was receiving treatment at a private hospital having contracted the COVID19 virus and was in critical condition for several days. 

Rajamahendran is known to be trailblazer in the media industry as he revolutionized Sri Lanka’s media landscape with Sirasa TV and Sirasa FM.
